About Me
I am a developer from Los Angeles and have been working in the aerospace and defense industry for 3.5 years. My bachelor's degree in Cognitive Science led me to a curiosity in software development. As a logic puzzle enthusiast, I find code to be the most challenging but rewarding form of a puzzle. Finally piecing together the client and server-side of an application gives me joy. I love creative projects and find it exciting to see code come to life in useful applications.
When I'm not working on my technical skills, you can find me learning new things or planning out my next adventure (if I'm not already on one!). A couple of my favorite adventures include backpacking around Southeast Asia and camping through a cross-country road trip. Currently, I am trying to advance my artistry in sewing.

Flow Finder allows flow artists to share events related to flow props. Find where you can light up safely or bring out your LED toys at night! Let others know if you're hosting a class, workshop, or a flow jam! Flow Finder was built because I wanted to simplify my search for flow classes without needing to sort through social media searches for flow events. It was also built to practice my backend skills using MongoDB, Express, Node.js, and JWT authentication.
Technologies: Node.js, Express, MongoDB, Mongoose, PassportJS, JSON Web Token (JWT) Authentication, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery

Don't leave your recipes lying around on pieces of paper. Having trouble finding that secret family recipe or your favorite meal? Keep your recipes stashed in this digital drawer! You can even plan your meals for the week.No more wasting time thinking of what to cook! Stash was created to showcase my full stack abilities. The inspiration came from the need to look for recipe notes scattered in my phone, different cookbooks, and index cards stord in separate places.
Technologies: React, Node.js, Express, JSON Web Token (JWT) Authentication, Postgresql, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
